What is Revenue On Demand?

Revenue On Demand is a new model for B2B operators to access the revenue they’ve already earned, so they can move faster and grow on their terms. This guide explains how it works, who it’s for, and why it’s changing how modern businesses operate.

Get paid on your terms. Not theirs.

You land a big contract. You do the work. You send the invoice. And then, you wait. Thirty, sixty, sometimes ninety days before the money hits. Meanwhile, payroll is due. Vendors are waiting. New opportunities are on hold. And your revenue is stuck in unpaid invoices.

This is the reality for too many B2B operators. You’ve earned the revenue. But you’re still waiting to use it. Acting like a bank for your customers puts your own plans on hold. And it slows down growth you’ve already unlocked. Over time, that delay starts to feel normal. But it’s not.

In 2025, it’s time to change that.

The problem: B2B terms are holding back growth

Big buyers set the terms. You wait. That delay slows everything: hiring, fulfillment, expansion, innovation. And the traditional fixes? They come with their own problems:

  • Loans add debt to your balance sheet and pressure to repay. That pressure grows whether or not revenue shows up.
  • Factoring takes over your customer relationships, and often signals weakness to your buyer.
  • Chasing payments drains your time and your team’s focus. It turns operators into collections agents.

You shouldn’t have to be your customers’ bank. You shouldn’t have to wait to grow.

The breakthrough: a new model for modern businesses

Revenue On Demand™ is a category-defining model built for real operators.

It’s not a loan. It’s not factoring. It’s not a workaround. It’s a shift in how businesses access the revenue they’ve already earned. On their own schedule, without debt and without disrupting customer relationships.

With Revenue On Demand, you can:

  • Get paid immediately on net-30 to net-90 invoices
  • Keep your customer terms and relationships intact
  • Put your revenue to work: to hire, fulfill and win the next contract

And most important: you stay in control. You control when you get paid. Every time.

Now® created Revenue On Demand to give great businesses a way to grow without waiting. Operators deserve control over their own momentum.

When to use Revenue On Demand

Operators turn to Revenue On Demand at key moments of opportunity or pressure:

  • Before payroll hits and cash is tight
  • After winning a new contract that requires early costs
  • When expanding into a new market or adding headcount
  • To avoid slowdowns caused by late-paying customers

Use it when growth can’t wait and timing matters.

What stays the same (and why it matters)

With Revenue On Demand, the only thing that changes is how fast you get paid.

  • Your customers still pay on their terms
  • You stay in full control of the relationship
  • There’s no debt, no disruption and no risk outside of fraud or bad fait

It’s flexibility, without compromise.

Who it’s for

Revenue On Demand is built for B2B businesses who sell on terms and want to grow without waiting to get paid. If you’re invoicing on net-30, 45, 60 or 90-day cycles, this is for you.

We work especially well for:

On the other hand, Revenue On Demand isn’t a fit for businesses that sell directly to consumers, take upfront deposits or bill through unpredictable change orders. That includes restaurants, retail and many construction firms.

Common misconceptions

Revenue On Demand is simple by design. But because it’s a new model, it’s worth clarifying a few things we often hear from first-time users:

Is this factoring?
No. Factoring usually requires long-term contracts, personal guarantees and handing over all your receivables. You lose control, your fees change over time, and you only get the full amount if your customer pays. Revenue On Demand is different. You choose which invoices to fund. You receive the full amount (minus a flat fee) within 24 to 48 hours after invoice approval. There’s no debt, no obligation to use it again, and no personal or business risk (unless there’s fraud or bad faith).

Is this a loan?
No. You’re not borrowing money. You’re simply choosing when to get paid for work you’ve already done. There’s no interest, no repayment schedule and no debt on your balance sheet.

Does my customer know I’m using Now?
Yes, but nothing changes in how they work with you. Your business name stays on the invoice, your terms stay the same, and you stay in control.

The only update is the remittance address, which is revised so the payment goes to Now. The invoice still shows your business as the biller, and your relationship with the customer doesn’t change. Unlike traditional factoring, you don’t reissue the invoice or change the party billed. That means your contracts and customer trust stay intact.

Is there a credit check or underwriting process?
We have an underwriting process, but no personal credit check is required. Now evaluates the quality of your invoiced work and customer portfolio (not your FICO score).

Is there a long-term contract?
No. Revenue On Demand is usage-based. Use it when you need it. Skip it when you don’t.

Brian White at Project Services Group described how switching from bank-based financing to Revenue On Demand gave them more clarity and control over internal cash flow decisions.

A moment that matters

Culture Genesis operates at the intersection of media, talent and production, delivering creative content for top platforms. But working with large buyers often meant waiting 45 to 60 days for payment, even after work was completed.

Using Revenue On Demand, they gained the flexibility to reinvest right after invoicing. Funding new projects, paying talent and moving faster without friction.

That shift turned cash flow pressure into forward motion, right when it mattered.

Why Now built this

B2B operators are the backbone of the economy, but they’ve been overlooked by financial services for too long. Traditional products weren’t designed for them. They were designed for large enterprises or early-stage startups chasing equity.

Now exists to give real operators control over their own momentum. No more waiting. No more gaps in working capital. No more being held back by the terms you had to accept.

What’s ahead

This model is gaining momentum with forward-leaning teams. It’s simple, fast and built for how B2B actually works.

Revenue On Demand is more than a product. It’s a new category for modern operators: those who’ve earned their revenue and deserve the power to use it when it matters.

This shift is just beginning. As more B2B companies adopt Revenue On Demand, we’ll see a new standard emerge. One where cash timing becomes a lever for growth.

We’re building for that future. And we’re building it with you.
