The Atlanta Business Chronicle has recognized NOW Corp President & CEO Lara Hodgson as a 2019 Women Who Mean Business. Honorees were selected for making significant strides in their careers and a difference in their communities. Because of their actions and accomplishments, these trail blazers are leaving an indelible mark on the Atlanta business community.
The Chronicle recognized Hodgson for her leadership in the Atlanta business community and the impact her company has as they help businesses accelerate their growth.
Says Hodgson, “Our top accomplishments are our clients’ successes.”
“One client that started using NOWaccount four years ago when they were less than $1 million in revenue. This year they will do over $20 million in revenue because they are getting paid immediately.”
Her leadership advice is to focus on the problem that you’re solving, not the product. “Always remember that your passion and your ego should not be in the WHAT you do, but rather should be in the SO WHAT that you do. It’s the impact that’s important. If you lose sight of this goal and focus on the cool features of your product or service, you will likely lose your way.”
